Sweet. Well I liked the progression from a free-play level as an introduction, and then the harder level with water and enemies to put pressure on the player. Though in that level I couldn't get passed the black strip at the bottom which confused me, so the water always got me. Not sure if I did something wrong or if that's the end of the prototype! The digging mechanic feels good and is a great start, and in general tile-based digging games are solid, though there are quite a few out there so I'm curious what ideas you have to make yours stand out. If you don't have a killer feature to distinguish it and just want to have the experience of making this game then that's perfectly fine too :)
Oh those black strips with the coins indicate the amount of coins you need to break that strip. That's one of the ways I think it''s different from most drill games. (Rather than just mindlessly drilling down).
I have a few other ideas to add which included
Power-Ups
Story
Checkpoints
Enemies
Art-style
But wanted to get the core game made which was:
A game where you must dig down and obtain coins to reach the next section while avoiding obstacles
Wanted to receive as much feedback from it as possible to see if this was something that interested people. That way I can decide to scrap it or continue
Aha, it's much more enjoyable now that I get the coin goals! Though I think people will need to know the minimum number of coins for the next strip before reaching the bottom, otherwise it feels a bit frustrating to be stuck at the bottom.
Power ups can add so much to a game like this, I'd consider looking at games like Bomber Man for inspiration and let your imagination go wild :)

Nice! Is this part of a jam? Personal project?
Thanks! Yeah this is a personal project that I wanted to get some feedback on.
Wanted to hear people's thoughts on it and make some changes before progressing

Yeah that's a good point. Few people were having trouble understanding the goal in the beginning so I need to make a better tutorial haha
Also letting the player know how many coins they need is a good idea for sure!
I'll also take a look at bomber-man to get some ideas. Looks like a pretty fun game.
Thanks a ton for the suggestions/feedback btw. Much appreciated
